Dance has entered the chat. Say hello to compcritique.
meetcritique is proud to introduce Dance to our real-time feedback platform. Now, dancers, parents, and studios can experience the same expert, performance-synced judging that gymnasts and T&T athletes already love. Whether you’re training for regionals or fresh off the national stage, our professional adjudicators break down what they see—as they see it—so you know exactly how to improve for your next competition.
Here’s how it works: Create a free meetcritique account, upload your dancer’s performance video, and purchase credits to submit it for scoring. Dance submissions require 2 credits to reflect the longer routine lengths compared to gymnastics—giving our judges time to review every leap, turn, and musical nuance. Our adjudicators provide detailed pop-up feedback synced to your routine, so you can see and hear what they’re noticing in real time.
Credits are flexible and can be used across all supported sports: Dance, Gymnastics, and Trampoline & Tumbling. Whether you’re a soloist prepping for finals or a coach working across disciplines, meetcritique gives you reliable, professional insights that help athletes grow. It’s judging—transparent, accessible, and actionable. Let your performance speak. We’ll help you understand what it’s saying.

Dance 2-Pack
Dance has come to meetcritique! Due to the length of a typical routine, a dance upload requires 2 credits.
What's in a compcritique?
Each dance number uploaded gets the full attention of our professional adjudicators. They got through the routine with their expert eye and mark all points in the dance that would affect their scoring of the dance were this a real-life competition. Our judges use one of three colored feedback items to point out elements in the dance:
Red - this is used to point out areas that negatively influence the judges
Green - this is used to point out events that are especially awesome
Purple - this is where our judges get to do a little coaching and provide insight on what they might be looking for at a point in the dance
Then there is the Judge's Notes & Recommendations. You receive 3 points of feedback that can be directly applied to your training and help you at your next competition!

Judges Notes
1) Leira, you are a very beautiful dancer with great flexibility, strength and musicality. Your tricks are all very well done with such wonderful control for your age. 2) The next step would be working more on all of the little transitions into and out of the tricks. Keep thinking about pointing your feet on the transitions as well. They are beautifully pointed in the skills but focus on the in between moments a bit more. I would love to see you dance into and out of the acro moves even more. Surprise us, don't show us what's coming next, but instead use the full dance moment to guide you into the next acro move. 3) Fantastic musicality, keep up the great work. You have it all and I'm excited to watch you grow.
