meetcritique Ambassadors
It’s year 3 of the meetcritique Ambassador program. And this season’s team is gonna be epic. And once part of team, always part of the team. We are so proud of the awesome group of athletes and dedicated families that have worked with us to spread Gymnastics Superpowers around the world.
Nova Davidson
Level 3
Home gym: Virginia International Gymnastics School in Midlothian, VA
The search for our first Compulsory ambassador for the 2024-25 season was a VERY short one. Say hello to Miss Nova Davidson, force of nature. Nova has caught the attention of Simone Biles, Naomi Campbell and nearly every major news outlet for gymnastics skills that are waaaaaay beyond her 5 years. She caught our attention when we noticed her absolutely killer at home workouts that secured a spot on our HomeGym story wall. Keep an eye on this one, y’all! We are so happy to have Nova and her family on board Team meetcritique!
What? You don’t follow MissNovaGirl? Fix that. Like now.
Let’s get to know Miss Nova (with help from her mom!)
How long have you been doing gymnastics?
I started gymnastics when I was 3.
All of them.
To do her personal best at every level and go to the Olympics
Not necessarily a skill, but giving herself more grace and not being so head on herself!
Simone Biles, Jordan Chiles, Shilese Jones, & Konnor Mcclain.
Why meetcritique?
We think it’s an amazing tool for parents and gymnasts to use to better understand scoring and how to improve at meets!
Kai Wiggins

Listening to my fav playlist to get hype.

Why meetcritique?
meetcritique has filled a crucial gap in the gymnastics world, especially for parents seeking to understand the nuances of scoring and for gymnasts striving to improve their routines. What sets this platform apart is how each deduction is clearly broken down, with certified judges providing detailed, real-time feedback. Beyond just pointing out areas for improvement, the judges offer thoughtful recommendations and positive reinforcement, creating a well-rounded critique that motivates athletes. It’s refreshing to see a platform where gymnasts not only learn what to adjust but are also reminded of what they’re doing well. meetcritique is an invaluable tool for anyone looking to elevate their performance and deepen their understanding of the sport.
Avery Douglas
Level 4
Home gym: TAG USA in Weston, FL
How long have you been doing gymnastics?
I started preschool gymnastics at 2.
Avery loves them all but especially loves Bars and Beam

To become a UF Gator Gymnast!
Definitely anything with vault. She loves working on giants and fly aways on bars!
Simone Biles, Aly Reisman, Kaylee bluffstone, and Lori Brubach (she met the UF gymnasts at UF gymnastics camp and beam queen boot camp).
Why meetcritique?
We love meetcritique because she can learn where her deductions are coming from to help improve her routines in competition, but also because it provides encouragement and positive feedback giving the confidence to really perform her best at her meets

Practicing patience with herself because she tends to be a perfectionist.
Leanne Wong.
Why meetcritique?
Violet is a visual learner. You can tell her she didn’t complete a turn or that she bent her knees, but she needs to see it all together at once in order to understand what to fix.

Maxxton Carr
Level 6JE
Home gym: EVO Gymnastics in Sarasota, FL
How long have you been doing gymnastics?
I started gymnastics when I was 3.
High bar and pbars are my favorite events but they are also my most challenging events.
My first goal is to be an Olympic champion one day. I would also love to own my own gym and coach.
The hardest skill for me right now is the giant on pbars.
I really look up to Brody Malone because he always puts God first. I also look up to the way he came back from such a serious injury. His determination is something I really admire.
Why meetcritique?
I am a very visual person and meetcritique helps me to really see what I need to improve on. I also really like the detailed feedback and tips from the judges.
Nakoa Ramos
Level 8

Mental barriers.

Brody Malone & Kohei Uchimura
Why meetcritique?
meetcritique gives me an accurate score, finding every tenth I can improve on. They support and encourage me with their online presence, and their judges have great feedback!
Forest O’Hara
Level 5
Home gym: Peninsula Gymnastics San Mateo CA
As we headed into our second full season, the Ambassador decision loomed large. Luckily we had a TON of awesome boys to choose from. One really stood out. Forest and his dad used the heck out of meetcritique last season. You could literally SEE Forest getting better with each event at each meet. His dedication to the sport is obvious. Follow his instagram posts for awesome training videos and his front row seat for seemingly everything the Stanford Men’s Gymnastics Team does.
Here’s a little bit more about the Tumbling Foo:
I started gymnastics at age of 5 after taking a field trip to the gym in TK
My long term goal is to win a medal in the Olympics as for short term my goal is to work on and perfect levels 5 and 6 skills and make podium for regionals.
Why meetcritique?
Meetcritique has gotten me on the podium consistently, opening my eyes to what I need to work on and what I’m doing good in. Meetcritique has also helped my dad understand this sport. I definitely recommend this to every gymnast and parents of gymnasts.
Maddox Parker
Level 4
Home gym: Texas Dreams in Coppell, TX
Say hi to our FIRST women’s artistic gymnastics Ambassador, Maddox Parker! Maddox and her mom were one of the first to try the WAG version of meetcritique and their enthusiasm is contagious. The fact that she’s a pretty awesome young gymnast doesn’t hurt either! In just a few short weeks, she has seen upgrades in her scores in part due to Seeing What The Judges See. If you are not following @MadMaddox.Parker you best start today.
Get to know the unstoppable MadMaddox:
How long have you been doing gymnastics?
I started gymnastics when I was 3.
Bars, for sure.
To go the Olympics.
Beam because it’s my weakest event
The GOAT, Simone Biles.
Why meetcritique?
Y’all, @meet.critique is honestly the coolest thing I’ve found all year, especially for moms like mine who are still trying to figure out scoring at meets 🙃 I get feedback on my routines and it helps me identify a few easy changes I can make to significantly increase my score at my next meet. I honestly can’t say enough positive things.

Jackson Wilson
Level 9 Junior Elite
Home gym: Integrity Athletics in Columbus, OH
When we were thinking about who would make an ideal meetcritique ambassador, Jackson was at the top of the list. If you haven’t already – check out his instagram @flippinwilson and you’ll quickly see why. He’s just one creative, humble, well-rounded young dude. And a heck of a gymnast!
Here’s a little bit more about Jackson in his own words:
I started gymnastics when I was born. My parents own a gym so I literally grew up there, but started preteam at age 3.
4.0 GPA and making Honor Roll
I make all kinds of goals, short term, long term, attainable and loftier. For this year… increase my difficulty, qualify to JE Nationals, make National Team, and then later compete in college one day and eventually go to the Olympics.
Why meetcritique?
I love getting feedback from judges around the country to see what I can improve on, and what I’m getting deducted on.

Mikey Hildebrand
Level 6
Home gym: SCEGA Gymnastics in Temecula, California
Mikey was one of the first athletes to try meetcritique when we launched during the 2021-22 season and we’ve watched him improve so much last season. He got a bit of a late start in the sport but has been on a rocket ship to awesome ever since. Check him out on Instagram @gymboy911 – and I defy you to find a bent leg. This young dude is serious about his lines!
Here’s a little bit more about Mikey in his own words:
High bar and vault
To compete in the Olympics.
Why meetcritique?
meetcritique helps me know how I can improve my routines before the meet. I like how I can see exactly where my deductions and bonuses are so I can work on improving. When the video is slowed down, I can see what the judges see.
