Newsflash: competitive gymnastics is expensive and most teams are no strangers to carwashes, candy sales and other creative ways to offset costs wherever possible.
We’ve got a better idea. Why not partner with meetcritique for a unique fundraising opportunity that has the added benefit of actually helping gymnasts improve at their next meet. And it might even teach parents a thing or two about the complex world of competitive gymnastics judging.
This program is open to gyms, coaches, booster clubs or parent associations and is available for men’s and women’s gymnastics and T&T programs.
Our nationally-certified judges can provide meetcritiques for men’s USAG Levels 3-10 and women’s USAG Levels 1-10 as well as all Xcel levels.
Each meetcritique notates level-specific bonuses and deductions timestamped in real-time. And in the Judge’s Notes and Recommendations section, three tips and observations will be provided to give your gymnast valuable insight into improving their score.
This program offers special fundraiser rates and a portion of the sales will be given back to whomever is sponsoring the partnership with meetcritique. We typically set a time of 30 days for parents to PURCHASE credits – but the credits never expire!
How it works

- Designate a beneficiary of the fundraising
- We will set up a custom landing page for your gym or team
- You blast out the page to team members
- Parents purchase meetcritique credits from the unique fundraising page
- Parents submit routines (these work great if part of a structured warm-up meet where parents can get good, close videos)
- Our judges review and return annotated videos
- After 30 days, meetcritique releases funds ($15 of each bundled sale) to designated beneficiary. FYI, if beneficiary is NOT a registered non-profit, this income would be subject to normal 1099 taxation rules. Talk to your accountant if you have questions!

Women’s Level 5 Floor
Judge’s Notes & Recommendations
1) Congratulations on performing your L5 floor routine. Excellent height and leg separation on the leap. Beautiful last acrobatic pass. Great artistry. 2) Work on your active center split flexibility. Using Thera band can improve hip flexor flexibility/strength. 3) On the first acrobatic pass, keep your arms by your ears straight, while pushing down your hands and opening your shoulders to execute a back extension roll to handstand. Keep your core tight and the buttocks tucked in to avoid arching your body. Good job, keep up your hard work!
Women’s Level 2 Beam
Judge’s Notes & Recommendations:
1) Excellent routine with all L2 skills perform at exceptional level of feet work throughout the performance. 2) Work on getting tighter on the pivot turn and during the passé. 3) Try to get to vertical on handstand dismount and work on being a bit quicker throughout the routine.
Women’s Level 5 Uneven Bars
Judge’s Notes & Recommendations
1) Congratulations achieving all cast angles. 2) Work on jumping to the high bar with tigh hollow body and catching it with the feet pointed downwards. 3) Great amplitude on the tap swings but try to maintain your hollow body position with the feet pointing downwards while passing the low bar height.
Men’s Level 5 Division 1 Pommel horse
Judge’s Notes & Recommendations:
1. All 3 bonuses performed 2. Swing is nice, and this routine is a top scoring routine across the US 3. He should work on the tiny details now – working to be square on all the moves. Turns should be exactly 180 degrees not greater or less.
Men’s Level 8 Optional Floor Exercise
Judge’s Notes & Recommendations:
1. Start Value: 13.1 2. Several places in the routine the chest is low in the landing, work on more height during the takeoff 3. Nice job on the press, it was held the full 2 seconds.
