Applicable to: Both WAG and MAG
Definition: Body shape where the body is bent forward at the waist, and the chest is facing or touching the thighs.
Explanation: A piked body posture most commonly occurs when the core and bottom muscles are relaxed and not engaged, when a straight body position is called for. Most commonly a piked body position may appear in bar casts, back layouts, and vaulting, when a tight hollow body position is needed. A piked body position is acceptable in skills that specifically state the piked body position (back pike, front pike, pike jump, piked sole circle, etc).
